You could either go 4warlock/8sorc or 2 warlock / 10 sorc. PAM+GWM for damage or PAM+Sentinel for defense both would work fine. Warcaster isn't worth it IMO - killing things fast (with feats) and making yourself harder to hit (with Mage armor and Darkness) is your best protection..
