Not sure if it is a coincidence - but this message cropped-up within days of taking the car in to Mercedes for annual maintenance. Any thoughts on this issue? They fixed the alignment problems so that the steering wheel was properly centered, cleared the stored angle sensor code, and took it on multiple test drives afterward. Problem solved. No more ESP Malfunction. Net cost of "repair": $0.As soon as that happened, I noticed the ESP/BAS malfunction warning. ESP seems to be working as always.
