You also start out with heavy armor so thats another major plus. On the spellcasting end I would recommend Magus/Witch over Wizard any day. Magus really is a class that needs some deciation, since its features are spread out. Cantrips are endless, but don't level up (except you can add sneak attack, don't know whether sneak attack is added both to weapon attack and spell).
