Don’t add more than 1 ounce of Sea Foam per quart of oil. Assuming you have a roughly 5 quart system, the 5 ounces added 300 miles before the oil change will be plenty. It may take a few oil change cycles (with Sea Foam added 300 miles before the oil change) to clean out all the sludge.But the manual does state 8,000 miles or 6 months for an oil change, whichever comes first, to keep your warranty valid.
