Im intrested in a ranger and i read a lot and watched some guides. The most common informations are that either Eldritch Archer 2 /Ranger 15 / Scared Huntsman 3/ Vivi 3 are the most effective builds. But what about the pure ranger? More archenemies and terrain and lvl 20 ability? Is the difference between pure ranger and some with multi-classing that big or just min/maxing?But with archery you will eventually have attacks at -2, -7, -12, and -17. Even as a Ranger, your static damage from weapon enchantment, bard song, etc, hitting with one or two extra attacks per round is eventually worth far more than an extra 3-4 points of damage per attack. Much less a fighter getting damage boosts from Weapon Spec, Greater ...Fighter 20 is the easiest build out there and will get you through anything up to normal difficulty.
